Flagstaff

Located in the high-country mountains of northern Arizona, Flagstaff is surrounded by mountains, desert and ponderosa pine forests. At 7,000 feet elevation, it is home to the San Francisco Peaks, including Humphreys Peak, Arizona’s tallest mountain, and Snowbowl Ski Resort. The elevation delivers temperatures that rarely exceed 90 degrees in the summer, fall that brings a brilliant change of color, winter that brings snowfall and spring that bursts with blossoms. Founded in 1876, many of the buildings in Flagstaff’s historic downtown are used today as stores, galleries, hotels and restaurants. With Northern Arizona University as an anchor to the community, the town is alive, with plenty to do, including entertainment venues, restaurants, a vibrant nightlife, and, of course, a variety of outdoor activities.
